Justin Land

As the Chief Executive Officer of Merchants, Justin Land leads the company’s strategic direction, operations, and growth initiatives. Under his leadership, Merchants was acquired by KKR in 2022 and has become one of the fastest growing and most reputable private lending firms in the industry, surpassing $5 billion in loans funded. Prior to being appointed as CEO in 2016, Mr. Land held multiple positions at Merchants including President and Vice President. He co-founded the lending platform Orchard Funding in 2013 which partnered with and eventually merged with Merchants. Mr. Land currently serves on the board of a private equity holding company, previously served on the advisory board of a regional bank, and he is a contributor to numerous industry organizations and publications. Mr. Land graduated cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
