Brock Vandenberg

Brock VandenBerg, President of TaliMar Financial and Fund Manager for TaliMar Income Fund I, has been involved in real estate finance for over 25 years. Brock started his career as a financial analyst for KeyBank’s Private Equity Group, underwriting mezzanine debt and joint venture equity transactions. During the financial crisis, Brock accepted a two-year engagement with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) assisting with the closure of failing financial institutions and the sale of their loan portfolios. In 2008, Mr. VandenBerg launched what is known today as TaliMar Financial and funded its first bridge loan. In 2021, Brock consolidated the investor capital of TaliMar and launched TaliMar Income Fund, a mortgage fund focused on funding short term Fix and Flip, Bridge, and New Construction loans throughout California. Currently, the Fund is comprised of 300+ investors totaling over $110MM in assets under management. Brock has been involved with various real estate organizations including the California Mortgage Association where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and the American Association of Private Lenders. When not in the office, you will find Brock on the tennis court and spending time with his wife and three children.
