Donovan Bowes

Donovan is Senior Vice President and Director of Construction at Genesis Capital, where he leads the Construction Department with responsibility for risk management, portfolio oversight, and borrower execution throughout the construction lifecycle. His focus is balancing disciplined risk controls with white-glove borrower support. Prior to Genesis, Donovan spent 6 years in Miami as an owner’s rep managing luxury SFR construction as well as large condominium capital Improvement projects. Prior to this Donovan also was a General Contractor in Los Angeles where his niche was working with Developers on Fix and Flip SFR’s and Spec builds with over 200 projects completed. This hands-on background gives him a practical, operator-level perspective on construction risk and execution.
