Scott Townes

Scott Townes is a Partner at Easy Street Capital, who is primarily responsible for managing operations and software development. His background includes capital raising, portfolio management, asset management, business operations, and software development. Mr. Townes began his career as an Intelligence Officer in the Marine Corps where he twice deployed to combat operations in Iraq. Following his military career, he spent the next 10 years focused on direct real estate investments. Mr. Townes built and managed a business platform that successfully invested over $1.0 billion of equity in residential and small cap multifamily assets across multiple states. After moving into the debt financing space, Mr. Townes has helped turn a regional balance sheet lender into a national platform originating over $1 billion annually. Mr. Townes holds an undergraduate degree from James Madison University where he majored in Computer Information Systems, and an MBA from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) – Anderson School of Business.
